This video speaks to evolutionary Biology, cognative science, existential, empathic ideas, etc… some interesting ideas, and something to think about (perhaps) as you go about your day forwarding your ideas and trying to understand why it is you do what it is you do.

imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, ‘This is an interesting world I find myself in - an interesting hole I find myself in - fits me rather neatly, doesn’t it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!’ This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it’s still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR A GLOBAL HUMANISM
(Dr. Rodrigue TREMBLAY)
1- Proclaim the natural dignity and inherent worth of all human beings.
2- Respect the life and property of others.
3- Practice tolerance and open-mindedness towards the choices and life styles of others.
4- Share with those who are less fortunate and mutually assist those who are in need of help.
5- Use neither lies, nor spiritual doctrine, nor temporal power to dominate and exploit others.
6- Rely on reason, logic and science to understand the Universe and to solve life’s problems.
7- Conserve and improve the Earth’s natural environment—land, soil, water, air and space—as humankind’s common heritage.
8- Resolve differences and conflicts cooperatively without resorting to violence or to wars.
9- Organize public affairs according to individual freedom and responsibility, through political and economic democracy.
10- Develop one’s intelligence and talents through education and effort.
I am not sure why he used the word “commandments”, but still, as a base for his further ideas… I see what he means (if not totally agree). I mostly just posted this as I have been told by so called… libertarians… that most economists are libertarian. And while a lot are, it is because they only studied business. Those whom also studied other things may not be so I will post different points of view from persons whom are economists but also have other ideas and thoughts. I am not dissing libertarianism per say, more, I truely believe the American version of what is libertarianism today is basically republican and the real idea of libertarianism does not mesh with economics.. it was not meant to. That is economic libertarianism, not the true idea. That is all…. Oh, and before I forget.. .RON PAUL 2012 (not really, but it needs to be said at least once in every three postings when mentioning the word libertarian, by law )

… and now for something completely self important.
In the wee hours of September 23rd (here in the east… the far east of the world), somewhere in the “Google League of Justice” someone pulled the plug, and I was deemed a “non person” in their eyes.
When I tried to access my account I was greeted with a happy broken down robot cheerfully informing me of a 404 error (the pages you are attempting to access cannot be found). Thus there, in the middle of the night in an ironic and metaphorically befitting way, my experiment with Google+ ended. Like a thief they crept in the dark and robbed me (of my right to be whom I want to be).
For you see, I never intended to have a Google+ account. Oh sure, I posted a few things there to keep the account active and give it a semblance of usage (and also so that the wonder-twin eyes of Google could still see I was around and peruse what I was doing), but I only asked a friend to invite me to Google+ as an experiment. I already have Tumblr/Facebook/Twitter etc (how much self importance do I need?), and I never intended to create “Circles”, no I only signed up as “Pondering Thought”, to see how long it would take for them to delete me.
As of yet, my queries as to how it is they went about deeming that in their eyes I was not a “real person” came to be, have gone unanswered. So to has my pointing out that while they seem to think I don’t have a right to be whom I want to be online, it seems to me that they CREATED an entire new name when they created Google. Indeed they changed that noun to a verb, and have, ever since their inception been creating various online personalities for various products of theirs that are not “real” so what exactly gives them the right to say that I cannot be whom I want to be on THEIR Internet. As proponents of free speech, it seems to me that limiting my right to be whom I want to be online (in name) is not very … free… at all.
…. google I await an answer.
And so now dear Tumblrs of the world, now that Google+ has become an open service, ready to take the masses of the world under its belt, I ask you to sign up under any pseudonym of your choosing. Do your best (or your worst as the case may be). For I wonder what it is google would do when, after peeing their pants in glee at seeing the numbers of users raise on their service (happily envisioning the day that they catch up to the other big social network service), only to realise that they have to delete many of them because they are not “people” in their eyes. Google, this is the internet, and when your numbers start to drop, you can quickly and ruthlessly be seen as not “cool” “hip” “now” or “the place to be” on the net, and we all know where that can lead to (I think it is called MySpace and… what was that other social network service you tried to launch? Does ANYONE remember that)?
As I pointed out to Google+, I, and I alone will determine whom my personality shall be online (especially in the choosing of my name)…..
And so I ask that we all take a stand. It is time for that small little guy in the schoolyard to stand up to that big bully and let him know that, yes, he may have illusions of being the biggest player in the playground, and control everything in his wake, but everyone has a right to be whom they want to be as well, and no amount of bullying to conform to what he wants (especially in something like a name that in many ways, and in the world of today that defines a person/something more and more “labels”, even in Googles eyes) will every change that.
* update. I can now access my account, but it has been “suspended” to the world until I change my name to what will… in googles eyes… be a name they deem to be “real”…

I use to call myself a libertarian. You know, back when I also thought that word “atheist” actually meant you had no belief. How times (and my maturity) have changed. As I began to age, read, travel, learn and understand more and more about the world we live in and the animal species we call human my thoughts began to evolve and I began to see that this thing called “libertarian” is very much like this idea from India called “Nirdvandva”. (but more about that later). Living in the Asian region for the past decade has also allowed me to see the changes that have occurred , both in the west, and the east from a different perspective than many people whom live in that bubble of the west may not have seen. While I am not surprised at the backlash that has taken hold in many western nations over what is perceived as failed policies, broken leadership and rampant corporate fraud, what does surprise me is people whom still hold tight to this idea that Libertarianism is the way to go. More surprising than that to me, are people whom still believe that there is such a thing as libertarianism. At one time, perhaps, but in the climate of the world today, it is very unlikely such a thing really exists (if it ever really did at all… and really, I don’t think it ever actually has.)
So-called Libertarians seems to take pride in statements like “we can disagree on many things, but still get things done… not like the bipartisanship of the political parties we see now”.
To that I say… hogwash. The main flaw with libertarianism (to me) is the fact that most of the people whom CLAIM to be one, do so from a place that does not actually take in the BIG picture of everything. They gloat about the fact that they have the answers in… freedom for everyone and governments staying out of all personal concerns. They have catch phrases that look good when spoken, but in practice are just as divisive and ill thought out as those of the people they argue against (that in itself seems to go against the grain of their ideas as they should allow others to want what they want, but they forget they are just like everyone else. They want the world in the way they see things ). If one listens to Libertarians, they sound strangely what one would call “conservative” on ideas of business and financial things and “liberal” on ideas of personal freedoms and social issues. I have no problem with either of these ideas as it does seem that in the world today, these would seem to be the most prudent and best ways to think about society. But on the other hand, it is precisely these views that trip up the libertarian and exposes the catch 22 of their ill thought out and very centric thinking policies. Social issues can (and are) THE thorn in their side, and having them tied to financial responsibility is a death sentence for the movement in any way because time and time again they contradict each other.
On a very basic level, for libertarians to say ”we want no government interference in personal affairs and we want to dictate our self what we can/cannot do” basically means …..no, I don’t of want that, I don’t like that and I don’t think that I should have to put up with that (and fake gods forbid I should have to pay some TAXES for it).
Now, I am not an expert, and I have never did a formal study (I have seen some statistics, but nothing conclusive), but I would venture to guess that the majority of those that call themselves this word are… Caucasian. At least a large portion of them. And of that large portion, many of them probably are stable, or at least more stable, financially then others around them, and so therein lies one of the biggest reasons to be a libertarian… to keep what you have and to make more. Libertarianism is yet another thought of people whom have and want to keep and another idea that comes from (a shrinking) western power base.
Libertarians are all about small government, no interference in private affairs, low taxes, and personal freedom to do what one wants to do. All great things when one looks at them in a general sense of the ideas. Sure, who wants anyone telling you what to do, who wants to work hard and give large chunks of your pay to the government and who wants the miles of red tape that comes with government programs?
Well, in many cases, for one. Me. I take pride in knowing that I can be a part of the world. I take pride in knowing that in some small (perhaps not so significant way) my taxes can even some playing field. I know I am part of a system that allows corporations to have a free hand, and if I was a libertarian I would want to take my ideas and put the money behind them to even up the playing field (but wait that seems to go directly against their ideas all together). I take solace in knowing that their are agencies that are there to make sure that my food is of a standard, my health is taken care of in some ways, my ability to move (because I choose to not own a vehicle as my way to cut down on my own personal consumption of fossil fuels) is easier with mass transit, that persons can have the chance to learn and expand their thoughts… the list goes on. Is there waste in these programs? Could these programs be better managed and run? Sure, there is ALWAYS room for improvements and better structure, but I am not for the scrapping of them in this strange idea that by doing so it is giving me more personal freedoms and smaller governments means putting money into my pocket. That does not seem to be the way to allow everyone to have the ability to do what libertarian social policy seems to dictate. The world runs on money, and Libertarians seem to forget that we are the ones that created this so why is it that we don’t give all people the chance to be a part of that? Libertarians, why not do something REALLY libertarian and call for the ceasing of the use of money all together? Call for the need to really be equal. Because you know that if it is not money it would be something else that we would use as a tool of power over another (like in the past with gold, pepper, spices, and so forth)? Because you don’t want to loose what you have?
Libertarians seem to be coming from a place where everyone is equal. We don’t need subsidies, we don’t need higher taxes, we don’t need government intervention, we don’t need regulating… why? Because we can do it ourselves. We can make sure all of these things happen for all people, in a balanced, equal and righteous way.
Hello dear world…. no…. we can’t.
Humans are like any other creature. Darwin, was the first to document in great detail our “survival ethics”, but anyone with a clear head (not wacked out on some religious god-takes-the-wheel, mantra), should be able to see that down through time humans have always been about survival, just like all species. Translation? We want to succeed and in doing so we (often) do what we need to do to get what we want. Sounds draconian and pessimistic? No, to me it sound like being a realist about the state of whom we are.
Human beings are the only animal on this planet that kill for the sake of killing. We are the only animal on this planet, that taken out of the equation and the cycle of the earth, would not cause ill effect or disrupt the pattern of another thing on earth. In fact, taken off this planet, this planet would thrive and move back into a place of a more natural and equal evolution. We are, in essence the disease of this planet. Libertarians (like all political ideas of thought) seem to forget that. They suffer from Nirdvandva… the absence of an opposite. At least with the ideas of Liberals, Conservatives, Communists, Socialists, (call it whatever you will), you basically know where they stand. Libertarians take this high moral ground of stating… we are for everyone’s right to self determination… but that totally takes “the other” out of the equation. It disregards that humans self determination often runs in direct conflict to another’s and it disregards what we do as humans to have what we want.
Let us look a little closer with some specifics. Ron Paul, the libertarian Dali Lama, is for self determination and no government interference in state affairs, but at the same time he is for limiting (strictly) access by persons from other countries that come to the United States illegally. Here is a perfect example of the catch 22 of the libertarian position. By this logic, it means, you have a right to be and do what you want… just not in MY country. Hmmmmm, it seems if libertarians were really what they state then they would be all for the dismantling of the entire idea of borders of any type. Should not freedom of movement be a basic libertarian idea? Libertarians are for no government interference, so what is it exactly they think will happen with business? Do they really think that business is not unlike us? It is a product of us and hence it is designed to succeed at any cost, just like us. If, as Libertarians state, everyone has the right to self determination, does it not then seem logical that those from the have not areas would want to move to and be a part of the have places? But by then limiting access, it seems your policies fly in their own face and totally contradict the basis of what you are saying.
Libertarians, like all other parties, don’t see it that way. They hide their ignorance of the way the world runs behind ideas of… in a libertarian world, we will be able to do what we want, eat what we want, live how we want, pray to whom we want, etc etc etc. And so I ask, … how? All actions have a reaction, all movement a counter movement, all ideas a hundred, million, hundred-million opposing thoughts. How is it we can all live this Utopian libertarian dream? The only way is to admit the obvious. In order for some to have, some cannot. In order for some to succeed, others will have to fail. In short, in order to live a libertarian lifestyle, one must live with like minded people in their own existence. All good and fine if we had the planets to do that, but we don’t. We all live on this one. All things that have come to pass, are derived from US, humans. Nature does play a role, for sure, but the majority of issues, are products of our doing, and I don’t see how this so called “libertarian” way of living addresses the fact that the playing field is not even and that it can never be in the system we live in (or the one that the libertarians seem to want either).
I must ask all those whom call themselves libertarian and live in the United States. If you are for freedom of expression of ones religion, then are you ready to take the word “god” off your money, out of your national anthem and away from your courts (so help you god)? I would venture to say not. You would of course say.. well you are trampling on my right to express my views. No, I am not, what i am trying to show is that once again your libertarian ideas are in direct contradiction of themselves. You have the right to express your ideas of whatever god you want, but to say others do in a system where YOUR god is on your money, in your song, at the end of every presidential speech, in your courts etc etc etc, how can you say in all honesty this idea of equal freedom of expression can be achieved? It cannot.
I could go on and on (ban on smoking, ideas of killing animals, etc etc etc), but I will not. Suffice to say, that while I have always found “libertarian” ideas appealing because I do believe in ones right to self determination and expression, I also am a realist and a person whom lives in society, therefore I know that it is not “libertarianism” at all, it is separation of us all and in fact a classes idea that libertarianism espouses.. not unlike any other political idea of thought. Libertarians are, in short, human. Call themselves what they want, they are just another party that is trying to have the world the way that THEY want the world, not a world for all of us…. and so while it may be nice to live in this world of Nirdvandva, and indeed it would be, being we live on this planet at this time in our evolution and with the thinking process we have, this reality is not possible at all. So call yourself a libertarian if you must, espouse how you have the right way for us all to live… all the answers, but at the end of the day, try to understand that what you forward is not much different than anyone else, just wrapped to look (and make you feel) like it is.

So here we all sit… victims of our own accord. You know who I am talking about. Oh sure, it would be the easy way out for me to say “wait a minute, it was the banks the corporations, the fat cats that caused this all”, and yes, you would be right… they did, and for the most part, they got away with it…. but to that I say; anyone whom lives in a country in any “western” nation that bought into the whole idea of “having it all” and buying, buying, buying… your to blame. Anyone whom voted for those that allowed the deregulation of everything, your to blame. Libertarians, your to blame. Conservatives, your to blame. Liberals, your to blame. Anyone who used their home as a credit card, your to blame. Anyone who thought that it WAS necessary to live like someone whom ACTUALLY DID have more money than you, your to blame. Anyone that lived their lives in the “housewives of… wherever… vain of life, your to blame. Anyone who saw how the banks had us bent over and penetrated deeply and thought “well if they can do it, so can I”, your to blame. Anyone whom did not see that this making of money, and this buying buying buying could not be sustained, your to blame. Anyone that continued to support parties in their countries that insisted on this crazy idea of more tax cuts for business and the rich because they would create jobs, your to blame. Anyone who did not see we need more money in education (of all types), your to blame. Anyone that did not see financing war after war after WAR would bankrupt your military industrial complex, your to blame (need I go on?)…… but I digress
Weeks ago we all watched in shock as the streets of England became ablaze in a sea of anger. Fingers were pointed on all sides, reasons discussed at political round-tables but nothing really has changed. England is a country in crisis, and the “kids for kicks” free for all masked the fact that England is a country dealing with racial, religious, economic, generational, and deep social issues. Norway showed us that yes, whitey can also be a fanatical religious freak in the vain of what many said only came from the middle east (how easy they forget history), The United States has shown us that in times of deep economic crisis (created by the US), one should turn to radical, religious, science doubting tea baggers to pull the country out of the grips of that “non-American Muslim/African/whatever/CHANGE” guy they elected in a knee jerk (someone please help us get the f+&k out of this mess” reaction to the brain dead thing they had before him……
…and then there is Greece. The country that like so many others drank the cool-aid and saw the future paved with riches (and deregualtion). That is a country people that is seriously messed up (as is the United States but unlike the US, Greece is not too big to fail).
Greece is showing us daily that a country can be in crisis and have major issues to deal with, Just like everyone else, but not trash the local Sony or Diesel store in a show of “defiance” nor turn to people whom pray to the heavens for help or spend their entire time attempting to blame anyone (homosexuals, single mothers, Muslims etc) but themselves. Greece seems me to be the one country in all of this that is actually an adult, and it is the one country that will most probably be the biggest game changer for Europe and consequently the rest of the world in the next few years….
But let us return to the central issue. Bandages have been pulled out around the world once again and applied to a cut that deepens by the day. First it was… bailouts…now it is austerity… what is next?
How about a dose of reality. I mean REAL reality.
The rich are getting richer, the poor poorer, and the middle class is practically non existent. Western nations have lived beyond their means for as long as they can now, and like it or not ALL of them will have to pull back. Eastern nations should not be expected to follow the same road as western (buy buy buy) to save your western asses (and capital portfolio), so here is what we should do…
Put down that credit card and understand that a change needs to happen. Will it hurt? Hell yes it will hurt. We are a global community of consumers and when we see that to make a real realignment it will mean we consume less, people are going to loose their jobs in the process. Countries will have to cut production of all things…. from shoes to houses to MILITARY HARDWARE to exporting this idea of “living the life” in video, print adds, television shows and the like. We will need to refocus on areas we have lost (like humanities, the study of ourselves etc), the idea of real sustainability.. you know, the non cool, non sexy, non “hip” stuff.
Taxes… will have to be raised. Stop with this notion that corporations will continue to create jobs if they have tax cuts. Yes, they will but they will create them in a way that will still make them MONEY, generally that means in places that don’t have unions, don’t have environmental standards and don’t have minimum wages, or from places that give them even MORE incentives. People, how far over are you going to bend? You give them tax cuts so they can create jobs so they can pay you enough to JUST buy their products back again to continue the cycle. Do you enjoy them that much up your ass? Large companies, how much longer do you think people can keep on buying your things? Eventually the amount of people able to do so will be so small (as the rest will either be evicted, in default or in jail… but again someone will be making money off of that. After all jails are a growth industry and a great way for many areas to make up some of the lost jobs/revenue that has been lost so hey WIN/WIN!!!) that eventually it will get to you. Think ahead, if you REALLY want to save yourself and all you have then practically think you need to save those under you. If you kill off the entire food supply chain you have the day will come when you too will eventually starve. It seems to me that is what is already starting to happen in many countries. Nations of the world, globalization is not a bad thing, if done in the right way. The notion of us all connected is a great thing, but why is it a connection of buying?
Lifting people out of poverty to consume seems to me to only be putting a bandage on those people for the time being for they too will eventually be at the place that many countries are now, and then what? Will we do this all again? It is great to dream about being “that other person” you know the one that has the cars, the house, the clothes, the .. everything, but when it becomes and obsession and a national pass time (like it has in many nations), it is time to stop. “Fame” at any cost is the new mantra and it is killing us all. Are we really to vain to see what we are really doing to our species? What does it REALLY mean to have that label on your chest, that big car in your driveway, that bling around your neck?
The hole we have stuck our heads into as a global community is so deep it seems at times we will never find our way out.
But we can, if we all understand that we need to make some really hard choices … ALL of us. not just the same old same old. Pull back now, understand it will hurt, but spread the pain around. Stop this crazy cycle before it is too late.

In a world fast becoming defined by Twitter, YouTube and the like, I think it is important to remember that the one thing that really defines the imagination and can bring a childs thoughts to life… is a book. Sure, pictures are great, but words make them evoke the visuals for themselves, sparking a flurry of thought not associated with just visuals alone.
In a world where information is king, literacy is more important than ever. Being able to read, even at a basic level is necessary for most everything now in a world more and more and more defined by the information you hold, know and understand (be that what it may).
The demise of the book (in my thoughts), is a sad thing, evolution, perhaps, but still a sad thing all the same.
Why not try, at least once a week to turn off that TV. Push away from that computer, WII or PS console and pick up a book and let your REAL imagination soar.

The new species, Australopithecus sediba, possesses novel combinations of apelike and humanlike features in the hand, foot and pelvis.

Okay, lets get one thing clear. Fat is not okay.
No, I am not saying one should be the stick people that grace the covers of those silly fashion mags that seem to be the only type of magazine you can buy anymore (what is WRONG with you people), nor am I saying you need to be some muscle laden gym bunny hell bent on being THE it person in your gym (please they are just as bad as all the fat)….what I am am saying is
FAT IS NOT OKAY. I don’t care if you turn on your televisions and see shows like Glee or Hung or (whatever) that embrace the fat. More and more on TV it seems fat is the new black (oh come on, you know what I am talking about.. that token fat person there in the cast to round out.. no pun intended… the political correctness of it all. The Asians must be mad, for the fat of the world is giving them a run for their money in that area of television…Too bad no one told anyone there are a LOT of Asian cultures to tokenly place… but I digress).
FAT IS NOT OKAY. Personal choice? Sure, go ahead. Be anything you want to be (and all kidding aside, there is definitely a group out there whom likes there partner to be a bit on the heavier side, both male and female. Being large is … being large. I am talking about FAT, body percentage wise). Eat what you want, exercise never. Sit in front of that television, computer screen, tablet, all day, but when the time comes (and it will) when you need to visit the hospital due to your weight issues (and more often than not it will happen), YOU pay out of pocket for that. Being FAT is not just a personal issue anymore (Americans have you not looked in the mirror lately… or have you lost all of those in your economic downturn… or super-sized them as well), being fat has become an obsession, a pass-time and a problem that not tackled now, will have dire consequences on not just the population of MANY countries, but the health care systems of those said places as well.
So, whom do we blame for this Free-Willy-ing of our species? Why not start with yourself? Sure, we could easily say it is the fast food chains of the world, the lack of real foods in many places in the world (although I see that as a more western problem in terms of getting anything that does not come in a two minute microwaveable bag), the super-sizing of everything in the name of, profit and bottom lines, but at the end of the day it is US… all of us, that still walk into these places, plunk our sad sorry FAT asses down and continue the cycle of what many establishments so desperately want us to do… consume.
One only needs to look at developing nations … and the increase in their size… to see that being fat is an issue that is brought about by another’s desire for us to consume, it is a personal choice brought about by our own personal desire to consume. As a nation gets richer, its inhabitants begin to eat more. Generally that means they begin to eat more meat. As a nation begins to develop, generally that means people begin to work more, as they begin to work more, less REAL food is made (in the form of sit down dinners), and more foods of convenience step in to take up the flack. It is a vicious cycle this (global) nation of consuming we have gotten ourselves into, but unless we see our way through, we, the people, will continue to grow (in our waistlines).
Companies cannot be solely blamed for doing what we all have designed them to do… make money, and make lots of it. So when a company comes to a local school and puts in their vending machines, the school does it because they NEED the money to supplement the fact that all of us don’t want to pay more taxes for our kids to have an education. Libertarians call this… freedom to choose. Conservatives call this … free enterprise. Liberals… well they just fight among themselves and try to get a consensus and never really do much of anything anymore (it seems), as personal freedoms have taken them over too and being a liberal now a days means embracing the fat. The rest of the people? The ones that see the real problem? Well they are just freaks that home-school (not for some religious freak ass reasons or because they think things are too liberal.. they are a whole other bunch of crazy… ooops, digressing once again), or make their kids social outcasts by bagging their lunches and not allowing them to eat all the shit in our education system (food wise). So, yes, blame the companies for their vending machines that are chalked full of nothing but calories, but also blame yourself for not wanting to put more money into the one thing that we should be putting more money into… education, and the future of EVERY nation (but I digress once again…)
FAT IS NOT OKAY. All you meat lovers, here is the skinny. Eat your meat, that is not the issue (for this writing at least, although people eat WAY too much meat) , but you don’t have to eat the WHOLE animal in one sitting. Spread it out over time. Add some vegetables, grains, fruits to that dish. Don’t deep fry it. And better yet, be more aware of how that animal is being raised (ie pumped full of crap) to maximise the growing time (PROFIT MARGIN) of that company in your portfolio of stocks. Understand you really are what you eat. That is not just some crazy tag line created in the vain of an “I’m lovin it”. That one is really true!!! (because what your… lovin… is all chemically enhanced, or wrapped in sugar so the real of all that …love… got lost in the coating)
FAT IS NOT OKAY. Get off that sofa. Pull away from that video game, chat program, movie etc and head into the outdoors (while we still have it… the fatter we get the worse the environment seems to get but AGAIN I digress) and walk, bike, run, jump, skip, dance, or play your way to a better you.
FAT IS NOT OKAY. Developing nations, don’t think that being developed means you need a western “restaurant” on every corner that feeds you nothing but calories. Stay true to you and what you are.
FAT IS NOT OKAY. Starbucks, to quote from a movie. Venti means large. Grande means large… your stupid in two languages…
FAT IS NOT OKAY. Stop telling me that I should embrace you. I Can’t; your too big!!! my arms do not fit around your waist anymore. Heck I can barely even fit them around your arms. I embrace those whom REALLY can’t help it. The ones that have a medical condition, are pre-dispositioned or know they are fat because they are in denial, avoiding, or otherwise using food as a crutch. I don’t embrace those that just say… I am fat… get over it!!
FAT IS NOT OKAY. To me, fat says… hell yes, I want to be a consumer of all things. I want the world to continue on this path of (self) destruction. I want to reap all the benefits for me and screw everything else, and I want to allow companies to feed me in any way that they see fit. I don’t care about me, or anyone else. I just want to shove something down my throat and get on with my day, oblivious to the fact that every bite I take says something about what I think about me and the rest of the world.
….. and to all you skinny people out there. Don’t gloat, your just as bad. Your industries of fat hate. Your television shows, your fashion, your magazines, your billboards etc. They drive home the message of fat hate, and in many cases just make the whole situation worse. Humans push against things that hurt them the most. We are a species that does not like to be told what to do in the least. So don’t get on your (skinny) high horses about your weight. You too are a part of the problem.
Start looking at the labels of the things you eat. Yellow number sixty is not found in nature. Denny’s steaks are cheap for a reason. Just like KFC (remember when it was called FRIED….) a sauce is a condiment, NOT A MAIN COURSE.
Neighbourhoods without a fruit and vegetable market need to stand up to this injustice. City councils need to be held accountable and allow people to grow their own produce (hell encourage it)
Seven elevens, AM/PM’s or whatever your local convenience store is… apples can mean fast food. Juice with actual JUICE can be consumed
Companies worried about the bottom line… worry about that bottom line being so large it is immobile and unable to move its fat ass to buy your products. Or better yet, look at your own families and think… do I want to deal with the medical issues that come with this fattening of the world (or my closest family and friends?). Do I want to see my close loved ones go through all that pain caused by my desire to make a fast buck off the fat?
Libertarians, get off your “freedom” asses and see that this is not an issue about personal choice. It is an issue to also ignore with your “less government, more personal choice” mantra.
But most of all, you, YES YOU. WAKE UP. Don’t fall victum to either side. Don’t be someone whom the magazines want you to be (size wise) nor the one that the consumeristice world wants you to be (which in an oxymoronic way is much larger than the other)…. and Biggest Loosers of the world (you know whom you are, I have seen you on in more than one country, telling me YOU can help me make the change), get off your ideals of what fat is about and look at the fact that you are a part of it. The catch 22 of it all. Fat feeds weight loss industries. Weight loss industries feed fat. Hand in hand you are all a part of this society that consumes us all.
How about for once we consume some common sense about the real issues of this fat, or are we all too busy cleaning the crumbs we just spilled from that mega sized whatever we just consumed?

Too much to read? Afraid this is just another in a long line of internet rantings and ramblings? That is okay, skip to the bottom and read the last lines. It is all you need to know……
1 Embrace the motto “not my business”. This is especially helpful in the ackward situations you may find yourself in when you know ones rights as a human (no matter your personal ideas of them or their actions) are being violated, or at the very least are being violated in a way that you would not want either.
2. Live the life of a pessimist. It is so much easier after all to assume the worst, then when it does (finally) happen, the satisfaction that will come when saying the words “I told you so” will be ever the more gratifying.n Pessimisic thinking a downer? Okay, always be the optomist. Everyone loves it when the only thing you do is send pictures of kittens and puppies doing the cutest things. An optomist can see beauty in everything, because remember there is beauty in everything. Let’s try it … You see someone being oppressed. You don’t want to step in (remember step one… not my business… so just think… Oh, it will all work out in the end. It is meant to be and it will turn out the way it is suppose to)… hey! I feel better already. Okay, so you choose, pessimist or optomist. BUT YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE
3. Dont Rock the Boat. Never say anything that you know will provoke, bring about a response or cause another to “feel” in any way any type of reaction to your words (thought) other than the sound of the crickets, a yawn or a blank stare and whatever laugh. In short, try not to think too much about much of anything except… me hungry, eat. Me tired, sleep. Me horny, sex (be careful with that one), me want, get. See what I mean. Easy and slow. Three or four words is all you need to think.
4. Live under the illusion that everyone is free to do what they want. More importantly live under the impression that YOU are free to to what you want and that whatever you do has no effect, consequences nor connection to anything but your own self, wants, and needs.
5. Believe we all come from a place of equality. Utopian? No, this beautiful thought is just… what it is… period. Especially good for those that have something and never want to let it go, but don’t want to actually say that or admit it (see libertarian). Now don’t think it.. just live it. All the time see everything, everyone, every situation (and actions there-of) as products of our equality. Judge and mock (openly) those whom speak of it as any other way.
6. Embrace the “money makes the world go round” song and dance and openly scoff those deadbeats that speak of a “better” or “different” way. Don’t be shocked at those that see the world where money is not the beat all and end all of everything. Just see them as people who are jealous and want. Throw insults at the person in the street ranting about the “right” to food, clothing, and shelter. After all, if they wanted that, then they would get a job and earn it.. right? Is that not what we are here to do? We are just animals, like any other remember. We have no right to anything (oh this is so confusing… do I like Darwin, do I hate him.. okay, fast forward here to the very end and start thinking that, I am beginning to think too much right now… it hurts).
7. Become a libertarian. After all, in their world, everyone will be able to do, eat, feel, pray to and be whatever they want. Oh, and no one will ever have to pay any real (taxes) money to anyone else to have all of this. It will just… become… we will all just naturally do that together. We are already apparently all on the same level playing field so a libertarian mantra of life will work. Remember, libertarians are all about personal freedom of everything, and no one pays, so YAH baby… RON PAUL 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024 (hey it could happen, we could clone this libertarian demi-god for future generations to enjoy and love).
8. Delve into a book (of religious thought). Be it Muslim, Christian, Judiasm, Mormanism, Scientology, Hinduism, whatever.Quote relentlessly from it and never let go. If someone says to you, you have a right to your ideas but not a right to facts, throw your book at them (along with a few good quotes from within). Science be damned!!!!
9. When watching television, exclusively watch (so-called) reality TV. After all, they are the real stars now. They have the real talent. We are all just… regular people now. Remember, a one hour reality show (taken from the hours upon hours of .. reality, and packaged into the best of with sound bites, clips and only the best, and most bitchess of moments) IS reality. The added bonus of a prize at the end , and having someone kicked off each week makes it all the more…. real. Don’t own a television or think it is a waste of time watching it? No problem, check out the hours of Hollywood movies that are pumped out each week.
10. Subscribe to only ONE way of thingking on all things and block out all others. Live these three words…. BLACK AND WHITE. Gray? Please. Gray is for people whom THINK they are libertarians. Gray could never possibly work because all things are just .. right or wrong. Period. NO discussion, no history, no philosophy, no personal thinking, no cultural ideas, no scientific reasoning, no biological reasoning, no thought. Nothing. BLACK AND WHITE.
Can’t remember all thing things on this list, don’t want to or have skipped them all together and came to the bottom right away? No problem. Here it is, the secret to it all, the only thing you will ever need to know…. ready….
Above all, no matter what you do….
DENY, DENY, DENY.

I have no idea, if I never was, how would I know.
But I mean, it is important to have been, don’t you think?
All I know is we are speaking of it so I guess it seems pretty important. I still wonder …. how would I ever know anyway.
And there the conversation ceased. What else was there to say. They both said what they wanted to say, and being at an impass in an otherwise peaceful co-existence, they parted ways at that juncture, continuing on their own journies. Nay a negative projecting between the two.
If only……..
The ability to move… physically ….. in this world is really a rather new invention. At no other time in our history (and from here on in it seems this same thought will be repeated time and tiime again, unless of course the doomsday wrath comes to pass.) have we been able to move so much so fast and to so many places. Persons, good, thoughts, notions, ideas travel at a compairatively sound barrier speed in relation to even only fifty years ago (or less).
…. and with it comes everyone. Every thing they bring to this globalized table we have created.
But first: A history lesson.
Back in the Day of slower movement, it was time consuming to over-run and change thought patterns. THe Crusades took a great long time with many deaths to spread one of the big mass thoughts of our history… Religion. Some of those spreading these religious languages were better at it then others and so they spread quicker (then the slowest of the slow at the time.) Expansion and exploration from beyond what was once thought of as flat came to pass. Along came the ships and the spice trade, the building of commerce on the other side of the sprectrum… Faster movement had begun, and more riches were found. The “appropriation” of workforces by any means, usually meant that one language traded the persons of another like they were the very cargo their boats were now carrying… (ah, the business side). Let us not forget the educating of the “savages” by reprogramming the language of the new landlords, sometimes re-writing the language of their own people (or leaving out things they themselves had done to others), therefore erasing what came before. Along came another one selling… culture (on a t-shirt, in a shoe, on every label - not in the production but the liscening aspect … you know, the real money)….. but I digress
As time went by and all of this came to pass, their were pockets from the lagging languages, the ones not the dominant, (mostly from languages that were not spoken in the one they call … English…), that started a language exchange of their own. Wars broke out (Not solely ever from these smaller languages mind you), till a war was begun that was a war of… different languages and subsequently the thoughts that came out of them that divided even the English one. After years of our … silent language conversion, we recieved a message from this other group. For see they were on the phone now too (Nokia, Motorola, Microsoft and the like are very popular there). Using all the technology given to them at hand. There were a great new many this time round.
They had ideas of there own as well, and now (with more money), and easier access to everything, they too could do what had been done to them for so long (in their minds), It was time to hit back in a way that was both ironic and deadly. Using technology that was given to them by the very language they were rebelling against. A technology that could threaten the very existence of all languge and thought (so why have this technology one might ask in the first place? We are human, less we forget… and so in our thoughts it was for our own… protection)
and that brings us to “now” , “here”, “today”.
class dismissed, moving on.
What of tomorrow? ( I have no idea, never been there, it always seems at some time I can’t get to). All I know is as we stand it contines. From both sides it comes. Bombs, Oil, Invasion, Multinationals, Alah, Christ, our way of life… the list (on both sides) of the artiliery in this war is large and encompassing indeed.
I often think back to those two guys and there two minute meeting, utopian in thought when they entered it utopian minutes later as they parted. Oblivious… perhaps, or perhaps just two guys who knew that theirs were paths like any other . They came to be where they were based on whatever reason it was (in their thoughts) for them to be there at that time. They chatted, and found an impass in their thoughts and so ended the conversation at that point.
Moving on does not always mean disrespect. It is disrespect if one uses one of the aforementioned mass languge assults and then moves on.
The world seems to be whatever way that it is and given the amount of people we are and contine to try to cram onto its dying surface we still have … something, even with all we have now, and had before.
Moving on with diginity is something it seems humans need to have, and while I see this, I wonder if it is the dignity from others or the dignity within ourselves we should really be seeking.
I shudder at the notion that in this world we have gone past that point, the point were one can just… move on. We are too busy thinking, what is/will they do behind my back, do to get me, to get what I want out of life. So I sit and I watch and I am never surprised (at the acts we commit). We brought it all on ourselves, (as we continue to do), and a shift in this thought, now, or in the now of tomorrow would (it seems) need to be a singular global occurance.
So instead I will seek out , (in what I see as this life) those, whom seem to … live for just living (understanding the thought… we are all Human in this existence so we all have the… greed.)
That it seems is very important in my (singular) quest to be important (in the plural of it all)
